    I will start with we think Shark has awesome vacuum cleaners. We have a currently have a couple of them that we use daily on a hardwood floor. We purchased this for carpet. Worked amazingly at first. However after a couple months it made a funny noise and stopped working. Took apart and a plastic part in the motor had started to break away. That was a brand new one from Walmart. We bought one from Amazon and had the exact same thing. Worked great for a couple months then started making a high pitched noise and now this one is not working correctly.

    I expected this vacuum to perform similarly to the last stick vacuum I owned, but I was AMAZED by how well it performed! The suction power was excellent, the battery lasted long enough for me to complete my vacuuming, and the amount of hair in the dust cup was practically unbelievable (considering that the carpet did not look dirty at all)!! I’m so glad I made this purchase!

    The unit was clean and well packed into an appropriately sized solid box. It works as expected and looks better than the picture. It’s the perfect size for easy daily cleaning of bare floors and thick carpet, although I still use my other vacuum for deep cleaning the carpets. Highly recommend.

    I love this vacuum cleaner. I was surprised because I had another corded stick cleaner like this some years ago and it didn’t work like this one! My mother bought one of these because she has trouble with dragging the large corded vacuums around the house. She thought it was great so I tried hers and was really surprised at how good it is. I bought one for myself and after months of use I can still say that I love it and it has great suction, is light weight and so easy to use. It really pics up the dirt on either floor or carpet. Tip: I discovered that if I leave the lights off in the house, the led lights on the front of the vacuum will light up the floor at a low angle and you can really see the dirt and what it is picking up. You can see the results in the canister, but seeing it on your floor and carpet is almost alarming. The charge lasts quite a long time as well. Let’s call that a reasonable amount of time.

    I wanted something for the bedroom end of the house that I could just grab keep my carpets up. Every morning I do the traffic areas and hallway. First use I had to empty it 3 times as I did a better job. The battery died after that, had to recharge. I don’t mind that as I just want it for light use. I have other vacuums if needed. I hardly use the corded one anymore, afraid of tripping. All my vacuums (3) are Sharks. If the battery gives out on this one I will just buy a new one for around $25 on Amazon. All in all I am pleased with this one. Also the headlight is very bright you can see every crumb.
