Bad Strong Chemical Smell, Does Not fit twin bed…Leaves lingering chemical smells and odors in room, on linens and clothes and throughout the house… I am desperately looking to find a shoulder relief pillow however this is definitely not the one for me. Upon arrival I took it out of the box and it had a chemical smell that was and still is so bad that it lingers in the house… I decided to lay it out on a bed for 24 hours in a bedroom that had a intake air fan in one window and an exhaust fan in another window it still STUNK. I moved it to the back porch and hung it on a clothes line.. still stinking… I brought it inside and hung it on a clothing rack and put a big summertime house pedestal fan blowing on it…. that was a big mistake because it still smells… a little less but it still smells… so giving up on the fact that it is to smelly to even get a wink of sleep if I was to use it… I brought it up to size it up to see if it would actually be good to sleep on if I could put some kind of cover on it… well before I even did that as I laid it on the twin bed… I noticed that the slots where your arm comes out are right at the edge of the mattress… so now if I was to actually try and use it my arms would be hanging off the sides of bed… I took it out off of the bed… and back downstairs and hung it back up… there is a lingering smell in the bed room and on my robe and probably on the bed linens just from carrying it and placing it on the bed for a few minutes…what a dangerous risk at loosing money and definitely a loss of time and effort… its definitely going back no matter what! Someone should report this company to some kind of public or consumer advisory establishment… I do not care how this product was touted as the best in any review anywhere else… I did not even get to try it out and after I purchased it.. and I wonder how long the smell will be lingering around even after I box it up to send it back.. what a waste of my time and effort and possibly even a risk of becoming a health hazard or suffering from an allergic reaction triggered by the smell it puts off like a migraine or something. IT should have a label on it that says Danger, Buyer be ware, this product puts off a bad smell.

So we have tried so many different mattresses, and pillows, and mattress toppers, but none of them have really worked for me. When I sleep in my bed I wake up with terrible back pain, or neck pain, or I just don’t sleep…
I am a side sleeper, so I have tried many different pillows which are supposed to help with this, but they didn’t work for me. The pillow cube switched my back pain to neck pain, and others just add to the back and shoulder pain. Many are just not comfortable at all.
This one is different. I have slept so much better since purchasing this, even from the first night! I was expecting to have to adjust to this and give it some time, but no, the change was instant!
Now let me be clear, this system is a bit much and has some drawbacks. 1.) It is expensive; 2.) It takes up a bunch of space; 3.) It is multiple pieces and looks overwhelming and complicated. Those are all negatives in my book. However, the benefits outweigh the negatives in this case.
1.) It does take up a bunch of space, there is no getting around it. For me it is worse because we only have a queen bed. But there is still room for it. If you have a King sized bed, you will have no problem at all.
2.) Multiple parts and complicated. Totally true, but once you have it on the bed, it goes together and makes sense. It is still a little cumbersome, and it sometimes my arm will get stuck if I don’t remember and try to get up too fast, but this one is still worth it because the sleep improvement. And it is comfortable.
3. ) Cost. It does cost a lot! Especially if you have already spent hundreds more (or thousands depending on what else you have tried…) But can you really put a price on waking up without pain? Is there a price too high for a good night sleep? Overall, I think the cost is worth it.
If you are a side sleeper, and are having back, shoulder, neck or other pain, give this a try!

I am 5’10” and 250lbs. Using this system took at least 60% of the weight off of my shoulders, and this would help 90% of the people out there in a big way! Because I am so heavy my weight crushed down through the foam and support and still landed on my shoulder. Moving from the bed to the floor helped! Putting 2 additional pillows *under* the wedge – 1 above my shoulder and one below (thus raising the wedge an additional 3 inches from the ground worked)!!!! When I did that there was no should pain and I could feel what is supposed to happen, it is great!
But I found it too hard to rig it just right because of my weight. If they added a few more inches of thickness for heavy people or offered a more dense foam I would have kept this product. I do still highly recommend it for others. Anyone below 230lbs might want to give this a try, the money is worth pain-free sleep.
